Julie Sandvig
Dolce Director and Social Media Manager
Julie Sandvig is excited to join the OYC team as Dolce director. With over 20 years of music education experience, she has a gift for teaching music in a fun, engaging, and nurturing style. She has called Olympia her hometown for decades and is so thankful for the music community here, and the emphasis on arts education.
Julie has a private violin studio and is on staff with the Olympia Symphony Orchestra as Principal Second violin and social media manager.

Nadine Bozeman
Artistic Director
Nadine has been directing with OYC for 10 years, and is thrilled and honored to have accepted the position of artistic director this year. After graduating in 2009, she began teaching in the Olympia School District, where she taught choir and general music for 9 years. In 2019, she started Sweet Francis Sewing Co, and left the classroom to pursue her business full time. Nadine is an active member of NAfME and ACDA, and still finds her way to the music classroom by providing workshops and clinics to local music teachers, adjudicating for local choir festivals, and accompanying. An OYC alum, Nadine is passionate about sharing her love of music with young singers and musicians!
Lorraine Hamilton
Executive Director
Lorraine is a former K-12 music educator and school district music department coordinator with 19 years of service in public schools. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education/Music and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration/Music from Pacific Lutheran University. Her post-graduate study included a fifth-year program at Oxford University and a practicum in an English primary school.
Lorraine is an active volunteer and leader in several non-profit organizations in Thurston County and enjoys giving back to the community through service. She is the current President of the Washington State Governor's Mansion Foundation Board of Trustees and the Past President of the Olympia Hutch Guild, supporting the Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle. She is also a Sustainer of the Junior League of Olympia.
Lorraine and her husband have five grown children and nine grandchildren and enjoy skiing and boating in our beautiful state of Washington.
Michelle Stanley
Choir Manager
Michelle has lived in the Olympia area all of her life. She is a graduate of Tumwater High School, studied at Pierce College in Steilacoom, WA, and graduated from South Puget Sound Community College. Michelle is currently the Office Manager for Sloan Family Chiropractic in downtown Olympia.
Michelle began as a Parent Volunteer with Olympia Youth Chorus back in 2009 when her daughter joined OYC. She enjoys working with OYC families and outfitting all of our amazing OYC singers! Michelle currently resides in Tenino with her husband Robert, son Wayne, and daughter Sahara.
Marlisa is a native Washingtonian and has lived in the Olympia area for over 50 years. She worked in the Financial Institution industry for over 35 years, until retiring in 2012. Her career was spent working in various positions, including Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager and CEO for local Credit Unions. She is a graduate of Credit Union National Association Management School through the University of Wisconsin. She currently runs her own Accounting Business and volunteers her time serving as Treasurer of the Core Council for Center for Spiritual Living- Olympia. Marlisa is very excited to serve as the Finance Manager for Olympia Youth Chorus and she loves to meet new people. She enjoys getting to know everyone connected with OYC.
